My Philosophy

I strongly believe that children learn best from example, socialization with peers and play. Each child develops at their own rate and it is up to the adults in their life to nurture and guide them through each experience and transition in a safe and healthy way.

I strive to provide an environment that is beneficial for each child's development. Through play and guidance, your child will encounter situations that kindle:

  • Curiosity, initiative and independence

  • Self-esteem and decision making abilities

  • Interaction with and respect for peers

  • Physical activity that develops/encourages gross motor skills

  • Fine motor development

  • Lots and lots of fun!

I realize the importance of the decision to allow someone else to care for your child and how hard it is to make. I am not only here to guide your child through their own transitions, but also to help parents with the many transitions of childhood and to be a support and resource when needed. If I am unable to provide the support needed, I can help get in contact with those who are able.
