Hello! My name is Valerie, however I go by Val. I live with my husband, our 2 daughters, and our Golden Retriever puppy. 

 

I decided to stay home after having our first daughter and open my home daycare for her to socialize with other children. I also really enjoyed caring for children and wanted to continue while at home.

 

I have my Early Childhood Educator diploma and worked in licensed daycare centres for 6 years before opening my own home child care program in 2013.

 

I attended Mohawk College for my Early Childhood Educator Diploma (Class of 2006). I also have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology - main focus on child development from Brock University (Class of 2003).
